Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park
Depart Kigali and travel east to Akagera National Park, enjoying scenic views of Rwanda’s beautiful countryside along the way. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation before an optional evening game drive. Dinner and overnight near the park.
Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Safari
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in search of wildlife across Akagera’s savannah plains and rolling landscapes. After lunch, take a boat safari on Lake Ihema where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Return to Kigali
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kigali with scenic views along the way. Arrive later in the day for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
